Ingredients

400 g Linguine A PORTUGUESA à sua mesa!
4 L water
400 g boiled shrimps
1 Kg canned, diced tomato
200 mL white wine
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
8 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
Salt
Pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon dried oregano
Chopped parsley

Recipe

  1. In a pan, boil the water and add salt. Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package and drain.
  2. In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and fry the unpeeled shrimps for a few minutes, seasoned with salt and ½ tablespoon of red pepper flakes. Remove the shrimps and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, braise the onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes, white wine, a pinch of salt, sugar, remaining pepper and oregano, stir and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Toss the sauce, shrimps, parsley and pasta and serve.
