250 g Elbow A PORTUGUESA à sua mesa!
2,5 L water
2 tablespoons margarine
120 g heavy cream
100 g shredded cheddar cheese
50 g shredded gouda cheese
25 g shredded parmesan cheese
150 g cooked diced ham
½ teaspoon dijon mustard
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Salt
Diced chives

Recipe

  1. In a pan, bring the water to a boil and add salt. Cook the pasta as indicated on the package and drain. Reserve a few tablespoons of cooking water.
  2. In the same pan, put the ham, margarine, cream, mustard, garlic powder and pepper. Let boil for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the pasta and stir. Stir in the cheeses gradually, so that everything blends together. If necessary, add some cooking water to make it creamier.
  4. Sprinkle with diced chives and serve.
